There are still those items which you get to use quickly for those "instant gratification" moments. Some of the tasks made me think, "gross" and "Who the devil thinks up these insane things?

Some of the games have minute little details that require you to see in order to complete them without pulling your hair out. You may need a strategy guide if you get stuck and just don't want to, or can't, put the pieces together. Playing on the Master level was quite challenging in places and I had to use the strategy guide to resolve the issue.

I have never played on this level before, so maybe it was my "newbie" experience with it. There was a portion I am not sure I would have figured out, or would have struggled with for some time, without the guide, but that may just be me.

I never used any hints in the game, even on this level. A most excellent adventure and I am looking forward to the next two, which I also just purchased. Rated 5 out of 5 by smilingsun72 from Intense and Challenging!

I have had this game a long while and never commented. After playing through again. I must say I still find myself sucked in. The story in this series just gets deeper. It is intense in places and definitely not for younger audiences. Having none of the bells and whistles makes for a great, challenging game. I know I found myself stumped a couple of times and had to go online for help. But all in all I recommend this game for those seeking an intense story and very challenging puzzles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chinadoll from If you don't like intense thrillers, then don't play There are many great reviews already regarding the game, so I won't repeat too much and bore everyone. Great graphics, great puzzles and it is a psychological thriller. Playing the previous 2 other Ravenhurst games, I have come to dislike the nemesis, Dalimar, over time.

But in this game, it was easy to continue disliking him, yet I struggle to also feel a little bad for him. That's not a fair rating to the game, imo. Great storyline and trilogy to the Ravenhurst series. Definitely recommend and buy! Rated 5 out of 5 by Moonflicker from Don't let the low rating fool you! I really don't understand how this game has such a low rating.

It is my favorite game, second only to Return to Ravenhearst. The only thing I don't care for is all the HOS's are morphing objects. I really dislike that, but I'm a fan of the classic seek and find, like Return to Ravenhearst features.

I absolutely adore the creepiness of this game! It's dark and wonderful, even more so than RtR. The graphics and sound are beautiful. The storyline is great, as you really get to know Charles Dalimar. The ending could definitely have been much less corny, though.

If you are as much of a fan of Ravenhearst for it's dark and eerie aesthetics as I am, then give this one a try! You won't be disappointed. Negative: 0 out of. User Reviews. Write a Review. Most of what made the first two games incredible is not present in this third installment. It lacks the heart and soul of it's predecessors.
